Until my accident I was working as service technician at Frankfurt Airport for a widely known broom yellow logistician.
The building is one of the largest at the airport with a great view onto the airfield.
In the topmost floor there is a big room,
The Sky Lounge
in which management meetings, press conferences,… are held.
I have been once a year in this room just to inspect a ladder.
On 24.06.2010 I received in the Sky Lounge an official
Farewell!
At this point many thanks again to the initiators of this event.
I still can’t believe what happened there.
I know, I am lagging behind for a few days with this blogpost, but I needed some time to let it sink in.

Which body fluids do they mean? Yuk!!!

After 14 days at the seminar of the

in Oberstdorf im Allgäu I am online again. These conspirative meetings of world-famous
Wheelchair and technical aids tuners
are “run” under the pseudonym cure (only for patients of the employer’s accident insurance), or holiday.
I will inform you about the most recent findings during the next weeks.

Am ersten April begann das neue Quartal und ich durfte Gestern bei meinem Hausarzt antreten (als Teddy?),
um meiner 3 monatigen
10 € Praxisgebührspende
nachzukommen und um mir gleich noch ein paar Impfungen gegen so ziemlich alles abzuholen.
Ich beschloss trotz dortiger extrem eingeschränkter Parkplatzverfügbarkeit an der Pferderennbahn mit dem
Auto
zu fahren.
Alles Super geklappt, kaum zu glauben.
Warum waren jedoch eigenartiger Weise nach dem Ein- und Aussteigen meine Hände nur so schwarz?
Mein Auto wurde Ende Dezember völlig verdreckt (voll Salz) an mich ausgeliefert.
Man glaubt gar nicht, was Schnee für reinigende Kräfte hat.
Trotz des langen Winters hatte ich den Eindruck, es schien die Sonne Gestern, dass so eine Grundreinigung des Wagens nicht die allerschlechteste Idee wäre und ich dann eventuell keine schwarzen Hände mehr bekäme.
Ab zur Waschstraße!!!
Dort haben 3 Kollegen mit Dampfstrahlern mein Auto abgespritzt und geschrubbt, schon bevor ich in die Waschstraße einfuhr.
Das nächste Mal drehe ich mein Auto dann vor dem Bezahlen und fahre wieder weg.
Für mich war der Wagen sauber genug.
Wäre mal interessant zu sehen, wie blöd die dann aus der Wäsche gucken .
Ich habe mittlerweile den Verdacht, dass der vierte Kollege mit der Kasse meine schlechten Gedanken lesen konnte.
Er wies mich mit dem Auto in die Transportschienen ein, ich bezahlte, er gab mir durch mein Fahrerfenster mein Wechselgeld und meine Dachantenne.
Dann wünschte er mir noch schnell einen schönen Tag und war weg.
Da fuhr ich nun mit meiner
Dachantenne
auf den Knien und keinem vernünftigen Radioempfang durch die Waschstraße.
Ich überlegte ernsthaft, wie ich das Ding jemals wieder da oben darauf bekomme.
Na toll !!!

There is a football god after all!!!
I have reported in one of my first blogposts how another Eintracht Frankfurt football fan I didn’t know gave me his 17 year old
yellow Tetrapak Eintracht Frankfurt football shirt
(see older blogpost)
, which I was looking for.
As if I had anticipated it, I decided on Saturday 2 hours before kick-off of the match
Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Bayern Munich
to call my cousin to watch the match with him live on TV. I should mention that at this time Bayern Munich was unbeaten for the last 19 matches, and my cousin and I had endured the 0:4 home match loss against these Southern Germans half a year ago in the stadium.
Well then, my cousin had told his colleague my story with the yellow Tetrapak football shirt, whereupon he gave him a couple of weeks ago his old
red Tetrapak football shirt
for me.
Heaven only knows why Stefan came as well yesterday of all days to watch football with us.
Eintracht played great.
Within the last 4 minutes they could turn the 0:1 score with two goals and sent Bayern home with
2:1
The photo was made before the match.
It shows the girlfriend of my cousin, Stefan and me.

I have bought the
hand cycle
with an extra amount of snow.
The costs of such a bike start from 2400€ when it’s new
(no typing error).
It doesn’t even have 2 wheels!!!
One day it should look like this (see newer blogposts).
I have to clean instead of writing 
Still no clue how I should hold the handles…,
let alone how I should shift the gears?
The handles issue should work out somehow with lots of duct tape, construction foam, sanitary silicone and super glue so that I can hold them with my buckled fingers.
There is a variant to shift gears with the chin.
Attach a toothbrush to the lever,
and I sell the bike in Ebay in the beauty section for double the price.

Der Rollirucksack ist vergleichbar mit der Handtasche einer Frau.
Er ist das inoffizielle Heiligtum des Fahrers.
Die Inhalte sind außer uns Rollifahrern, nur
Taubstummen Mönchen aus dem Himalaja
bekannt.
Warum fast jeder Rollifahrer einen:
Gliedermaßstab, Metermeter 2m (ehemalig Zollstock),
mit sich herumfährt, wo man selten über 1,40m Sitzhöhe kommt,
ist einfach.
Mit ihm wird das
Meckermaß
ermittelt.
Zahlen sind wichtig, bei Beschwerden aller Art:
Wie hoch sind die Bordsteine?
Wie breit die Türen?
Wie tief das Schlagloch vor der Tür,
kann ich darin ertrinken?
Ok, es bringt einen nicht sofort weiter,
wenn man misst und feststellt,
dass es nicht möglich ist,
an den Aufzugsknopf zu kommen!!!
Tipp:
Nach der Messung kann dann der Metermeter
zum Drücken des Knopfes verwendet werden. 
Derzeit werden moderne Laser-Metermeter mit “Wireless LAN” erprobt, mit denen die Messergebnisse direkt an den zuständigen Behindertenbeauftragten weitergeleitet werden können.

Meine Haustürblumenrampe wurde aus 2 Kubikmeter Beton mit reichlich Eisen aus einem Stück gegossen!
Böse Zungen behaupten, die Rampe sichert das Haus gegen Diebstahl ab.
Lasst Blumen blühen!!!
Die Blumen hat meine Nachbarin gepflanzt.
