Everybody who knew me before my accident knows that I have been a rather
âspiritualâ person.
In the hospital I wasnât able any more to open a bottle of
hop blossom ice tea
(cold beer) due to lack of power.
My colleagues had sympathy with my situation and constructed this special opener type:

The opener is also excellently suitable as extension for Allen wrenches if the screws on the wheelchair are lose again.

We quadriplegics almost all have difficulties with the motor function of our fingers.
With these
you can open bottles and jars without problems.
If you also put a non-slip mat under it the bottle can be opened with one arm almost without any power.
The caps are produced by the company Dycem and I consider them ingenious.

Es wurde soeben die Wartung an meinem Treppenlift beendet.
Ich wollte mir von dem Techniker anhand der Bedienungsanleitung nochmals die
erklÀren lassen.
Schon ein bisschen blöd, wenn man mit dem Rolli zwischen Parterre und 1. Stock im Treppenhaus herum steht und die Nachbarn sonntags LindenstraĂe sehen wollen und nicht in ihre Wohnung kommen!
Ich habe zwar alle SchaltplĂ€ne, aber wie ich von dem Ding wieder vernĂŒnftig herunterkomme steht da nicht.
Die Beschreibung, wie man im Notfall den Aufzug mechanisch herunterkurbelt wurde anscheinend vergessen !!!
Na ja, vielleicht kommt Harry Houdini vorbei und die Sache klÀrt sich von alleine.
